Filipino restaurant that famous menu were fried chicken served with banana ketchup.I order Spicy fried chicken, Max’s crispy PATA(Crispy pork hock), Halo Halo, Leche Flan taste good.I recommended for theses menus but banana ketchup was not taste banana flavor anymore.It’s like regular ketchup.

We had a lovely time. Celebrated my husband's birthday. Food were excellent and wonderful customer service.

Thanks to @dineoutvanfest , we were able to enjoy all the good food at @maxsvancouver ..📷 Pork BBQ skewer and pancit palabok (thick rice noodles), lumpiang ubod and calamares ..The pork was well marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce and the noodles were in a delicious shrimp, squid and pork sauce. The boiled egg was such a delightful addition to the plate too! Definitely will go back for their regular menu to get more of the skewers! The eggroll was super crispy and was filled with vegetables, pork, shrimp and even crabmeat! The calamari was super chewy! See our Instagram for more posts on this place!

Usual all time fave Filipino food, service was great! Worth the 130 mile drive

They told me I'm ordering too much but just bec I want to try everything..because everything is mouth watering! :p love Max's even back in the Philippines.

Service was helpful and friendly. The waiter we had seemed like a salesperson. Telling us, the amount of dishes we ordered was perfect for 10 people, but was way too much. The food was quite salty and dry.

Great food and has a very great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The parking can be problematic if parking in front of the restaurant due to the traggic laws and likeliness of your car getting towed but this can be fixed bt using the free underground parking near the restaurant. Just be wary of possible auto crime at the underground parking so hide any valuables kerp the door shut and locked. The food were amazing and has a great taste to it. It can be a bit expensive so just make sure to know that beforehand. Other than that a very good place to eat and drink.

Chicken great, crispy and dry. Pork belly sublimey tender but got a bit oily by the end. Garlic rice so tasty. Restaurant atmosphere celebratory, with a couple of birthday songs involving the wait staff.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Always when I come there I am profoundly satisfied. They maintain their high standard service and the topmost level of meals they serve. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

We were there a few days ago and dropped in for lunch, it was quite busy as there was a line up outside but service was pretty quick and they got us seated in about 5 mins. They price is reasonable and the food is sinply delicious. The quantity is satisfactory and the place is clean and pretty big. Overall, its a nice restaurant for a decent meal and I'll certainly go back again when I get the chance. Must try amd highly recommended.

Came here for lunch. Authentic Filipino cuisine, prompt and friendly service, good food, and they bring you a carafe of water to eliminate the need to constantly flag down a server.

They have improved on their service since the last time I was there. If they can manage the wait times, it would be great. There were several empty tables that was not occupied immediately.

We only come here for halo halo, it gets busy but i look over other table their food look tasty

First time at Max's, and to start we were asked to have a seat in the waiting area even though the restaurant was nearly empty, we waited for 3 minutes or so. First time I had to wait to be seated when a restaurant is empty. I ordered the basic chicken combo at $10-11 and there was much to be desired, the rice was dry! I asked if I could order a salad separately and the waiter said they had no salads, my friend ordered a $15-16 plate and looked a lot better. In all the best part of my visit was the company, the chicken and the red horse beer came a close second.

I always pass by this place and it was always full of people. Finally decided to go and it turned out to be a good decision:- Atmosphere: it is a family restaurant. Big tables of big families and I also saw a big party room inside. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. When I ordered a drink, he kindly suggested that it is very sweet and probably good as a dessert.- Food: tried their signature fried chicken and popular crab meat fried rice. They fried the whole chicken. Size of chicken wasn't big but it was good. Also wished for more yam fries. The fried rice was decent and it got much better after adding banana sauce that looked almost same as a bottle of catchup. For $15, this fried rice was a steal. I took the leftover and basically it was enough for 2 more meals.I would recommend this place when you have more people in your party. Just two of us could only order 2 dishes and many other tables had so many items on theirs.

5 out of 5 for Filipino food around $15 a dish. Doordash service is very quick.For those who are not familiar with Filipino food, it's very different than other Asian cuisine. For those not familiar, please research the cuisine before trying.

This was my first time at Max's and the main dishes was very tasty, buko pandan was refreshing and great customer service. Will definitely come here again and try different desserts.

Extraordinary atmosphere and super attentive service. The menu was fresh and delicious. Will easily recommend this spot to anyone. Convenient prices and generous portions. Keep up the great work.

We were seated by the host Jermaine. She is a really hard worker. We noticed she was helping out servers as well as seating tables. We waited 30 minutes to get our order taken. Did not receive water until the food came out. People who were seated after us got their order taken before and received their food before us as well. It seemed like the place was fully staffed and not busy when we first came in, yet it took so long to receive service. Jermaine noticed that we have been waiting for awhile and she took our order and gave us plates and cutlery while our server was nowhere to be found. I still dont know who the server was. Apparently, upon receiving our bill, it was Zoe. She did not even come to the table once to greet us or to ask how the food was. The food was just given and no one cleared our plates. Jermaine should be promoted to being a server she did a great job.

Food is good service is good... its the wait that's a bit longer... understandably they're being cooked fresh...

Went to Max's this evening to celebrate a birthday. We ordered a ton of food and it was all delicious. My favorites were: sizzling tofu, barbecue pork skewers, adobo fried rice, chop suey and of course halo-halo. The service and overall atmosphere were great.

A taste of home, but at a cost.Legit filipino food, with all the classic. Beautiful large restaurant with good amount of seating.Parking can be had all along Kingsway as well as a small parking lot.Unfortunately, Filipino food hasn't had the market exposure to lower the price as Cantonese style fair has, so expect to spend some. We ordered enough food (albeit with drinks) for 3 people and it was about $60/pp.Their famous fried chicken is indeed different from other local fare, but again very pricey.Good to try and for celebrating, but not a regular place to visit.

My wife and I had tried Max for the 1st time . Very pleasantly surprised the staff are great, The place is very well kept for an 8-9 year old place. The food was really good . KareKare and Pork Barbecue. The pork was TERRIFIC and look forward to our second visit in future

Filipino food at its finest, a bit pricy for Filipino food but what can u say it's a big franchise.
